FIFA 23 has been available worldwide for a few days now, but Electronic Arts continues to work on fixes and changes to the latest incarnation of its soccer sim.ĮA Sports recently released the first update for the PC version of FIFA 23 available on Steam, Origin, and the Epic Games Store.Īs stated in the patch notes distributed by the development team, the update fixed some of the following error messages displayed by players when trying to launch the game: “Failed to update process”, “Unable to accept system service”, “The application encountered a fatal error”. Addressed a stability issue that could occur when a force feedback device is connected during gameplay. Ultimately, this is a patch with various bug fixes that does not bring anything new in terms of content. The update is already available for FIFA 23 on Steam, Origin, and the Epic Games Store. The weight of the patch is about 2.3 GB.ĮA Sports has acknowledged that it “understands the PC community’s frustration” with FIFA 23, so it will continue to monitor the aforementioned mistakes and work to improve every other technical aspect of the game.ĭespite being the victim of an influx of negative reviews due to EA’s anti-cheat and optimization issues, FIFA 23 achieved three spots on Steam’s top 10.
